I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Good luck, Matt

Just having my usual Wednesday morning “get up and work AGAIN?” blahs. Three days in a row really is too much, we should break up the week more.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Went up a dose on Zepbound, and godddddd the insomnia is real.

ohhhh possibly this is why I didn't get to sleep until 4:30.

The insomnia has happened with every dose increase; for the first couple-few days after the shot, I just cannot fucking fall asleep. By night 3 or 4, I can sleep normally again. This pattern lasts for a few weeks, maybe a month, and then the insomnia goes away. It's maddening. I'm so tired right now that I'm bug-eyed and twitchy. Tonight had better be a sleep normally night.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Shir thanks for the frequent check-ins.

Steph, have you had any insomnia prior to Zep? I agree with -t that the dosing of a frying pan to the head seems tough.

Once in a while. But it seems pretty closely linked to increasing the dose, since it's happened with all 3 doses now. If it keeps following the pattern, it'll stop after a couple of weeks. Fingers crossed!

It's more of an art than a science.

Insomnia is just ugh. Mine got bad during menopause and I'm still dealing with it. I'm on nightly trazadone (as is my dog when there is fireworks!!) which knocks me out but doesn't keep me asleep. But the occasional gummy also does the trick. Just not as consistently. Sometimes I wonder if I should switch from trazadone to just gummies?
