In bizarre work news - our head of IT is leaving and the department is going to report to my grand boss?? WTF? I mean, IT used to be under HR so I guess having it run by Supply Chain isn’t much weirder than that, but it’s still pretty weird

Really? I haven't seen it on a shelf but maybe I have not looked on the right aisle
It's totally stop-gap but these stop-gap measures have a way of lasting for months and months

I'm thinking that the auction I got outbid on(on a curio from a rescue for big cats) is too rich for my blood now. It's hard because I want the thing with the pawprints on it, and, although it may not seem like it, I do like to win. But I know I've overdone it in the past, too,getting caught up in that last-minute flurry thing.
