It's hard because I want the thing with the pawprints on it, and, although it may not seem like it, I do like to win. Yesterday I got a FedEx package from my boss; we now have an award for excellence in technical writing, in memory of the writer who had hired me. I'm the inaugural recipient. My boss is going to announce it at the team gathering later this week.

What took down Iran's Republic Guard? It wasn't the grassroots women's rights protests of a few years ago. They brutally repressed that with execution and torture. It wan't Trump's bombing their nuclear facilities. It was...inflation.
Plus, decades of frustration and resentment and sanctions.
So in one year, Putin has lost his three big satellite puppet-powers: Assad in Syria, Iran and Maduro in Venezuela.
Proving once again that nothing is so disastrous as being close to Trump because he will find a way to fuck you over.
