The sky is clear and blue and the weather is warm, and they've been given spending money to poke around the Beverly Center but now they are headed back to enjoy the poolside as intended.

Timelies all!
Another week down the tubes.
Mr. S has not gone to sleep before 10 this whole week. He didn't sleep in our room all the days, but it's still stressful, and I'm still waking up a couple of times during the night.
The replacement window for our front door has been installed, so we can see out our front door again.
I had an appointment with a dermatologist to look at some growths on my shoulder/neck. They turned out to be benign sebaceous something or the other. I had them cryofrozen, which I had to pay out of pocket(because cosmetic) and the area where they are is sore.
I actually tried a fan with streamers, but that didn't do the trick.
Maybe you need something with more variety. [link] or [link]
Accountability post. I have to take this stupid certification test by Wednesday in order to get my reimbursement (over $1000). I have not studied enough, so I am doing it on a schedule this weekend.
Slept in be because my sleep has sucked and I’ve been super anxious.
Got food from bakery up the street + little walk.
Doing a tarot card turn to give my brain a focal point.
Taking a practice test to get a baseline of my non-studying knowledge.
From there I’ll evaluate.
Sounds like a good plan, msbelle. It's structured so you'll sneak up on the onerous task.
So far [knock wood] our trip has gone as intended. A little Fancy Feast for teen girls as graduation reward. They are enjoying themselves. They've discovered room service.
After our posh lunch, they have facials scheduled this afternoon.
David, I wish you were my dad! What a wonderful experience Matilda and her friends are having. So _fancy_! I hope it's been a blast for you, too.
What a great weekend.
Made 90 on practice exam, so I am going to study the questions I got wrong and then take the full test. Fuckit
I only need to make a 70 to pass. I think that’s a big enough margin.
Timelies all!
My credit card is missing. I discovered this when I was paying for groceries this afternoon. Luckily, I use the card associated with our joint account for that. The last time I used the physical card (as opposed to ordering online) was Wednesday at the dermatologist's office.
On the bright side, when I emptied out my purse to see if the card was there, I found my wedding ring. So Monday I'll call the dermatologist's office to see if I left it there. Sigh...
Yay finding wedding ring! Cards are easy to replace if need be!
Msbelle that’s a good score for a practice test, go you!!

Just got back from lunch at the Beverly Hills Hotel, Polo Lounge with Phil and Jennifer. He held off going to the World Series of Poker for a few days to lunch with us, which was nice.
I'm about to take Iris down for her facial (only one aesthetician on duty today, so they couldn't do them at the same time). I think we'll probably do a light room service dinner because we're all stuffed.
But tomorrow we'll have brunch at Yardbird (where JZ had her cobbler with the fancy raspberry shell that she had to crack open) and then head back to the airport.
It's been fun just cracking open the world of possibility for Matilda. To get her to think on a bigger scale.
