I am so looking forward to having 18 mos of hair be gone!
In my mind, you have a carefree pixie cut!
Brendon used to make Zoe howl by howling at her. It was hysterical. She even assumed the classic wolf-like position when she did it. He generally encouraged this under a full moon. She was most cooperative.
I really wish someone would click on it! The writing in the blurb alone is just so bad, and it's both so nakedly fanficcy and so deeply unfamiliar with, like, ANY vampire or Slayer lore. And it totally reads like some 13-year-old fan's attempt to paper over a bunch of gaping plotholes and make it all make sense. If the subject weren't such a nightmare himself, it would be almost adorable, it's so earnest fantasy-reading middle-schooler *obvious*.
I clicked it and am insulted on behalf of fanfic.
Timelies all!
Not clicking on the awful fanfic. Life is too short to read bad fic.
JZ, I don't know when you turned into a chaos agent. I did not read the fic itself, but I read the description. It is some of the worst writing I've ever seen. Witness:
The wall he is so passionate about is to stop vampires from getting in and going out. He would kill and hunt down every last one and rid the country of the abomination.
This is my "Donald Trump vampire slayer: He'll fight to save you (Unhinged Book 1)" head-canon: Barron Trump wrote it, and "K.M. Stewart" is a shared pen name for Trump's kids, who have been very busy on their "Virus Z" book series, of which there are currently six volumes. It is, of course, a Zombie Apocalypse series, and it's a vaccine that kicks off said apocalypse. [link]
Now I need to go inject some bleach.
The only things I want to read about Twitler for the rest of my life are indictment news and obituaries.
I clicked and I’m not even sorry. That description is so badly written it lessens the awfulness of the subject matter. Wow.
Small towns! Brendon was bummed because he has been putting in mileage every day but the weather has been nasty and rainy. There is a local tiny gym in Old Forge so he called the number. They are closed, but the owner answered the phone, said he was out of town but to text him when he was there and he would let him know how to get in and use the equipment. Doesn't know him. Never been there. Guess I'll have to get a summer membership next year. Talk about goodwill.
