I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That seems right.

Posting helps, I was able to get the rest done, Christmas is saved! Or at least a few particular pre-Christmas flash sales.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Well, it’s the weekend. Which means more sleep deprivation, as Mr. S has been waking up way too early on the weekend.(there is no reason for him to be up at 6:30 on a Saturday, but he often is)

Sorry about that, Sheryl

I dislike this growing older thing as I feel more and more rickety in this flesh suit daily. Yet the alternative is unpalatable as well.

I would not want to take over a factory job but I also wouldn’t want to get fired for refusing to? Yikes, what’s a middle management person who doesn’t make the decisions do?

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I am so terrible with posting on my phone and quick typing!

I am rickety too. The mask somehow makes it so I have no depth perception at all, and I already had poor depth perception. It came up on my 23 and me that I was more likely to have a fear of heights, because my idea of my body in space is most informed with my vision. Which explains why many people in my family are screams if heights and why I need to be looking at my feet to go down stairs. Unfortunately we also are genetically inclined to glaucoma, cataracts and blindness.

You've got friends to have good times with. When you need to share the trauma of a badly-written book with someone, that's when you go to family.

meara, Courtney Milan suggests that pushing folks into these jobs constitutes constructive discharge; someone else raised the excellent point of brand dilution: "who would purchase presumably lesser quality equipment made by unskilled workers for the same price?" And who's covering the work the salaried employees aren't doing?

Thrive to spite them

I'm at the beach!!!

I ordered stuff from Zulilly for the first time a week or so ago. I didn't realize how long it could take to get things. Luckily I didn't need them in a certain time frame.

I don't use pill pockets for Penny. I use the hold her , throw a pill down her mouth, rub her throat so she swallows method. Which isn't as gentle as the pill pockets but she doesn't always go for treats.

Yeah. I'm glad I went to the podiatrist because I've seen my older family members struggle with foot issues and I'd like to keep as much mobility as I can for as long as I can. The office was very busy but everyone I dealt with was nice. They took X-rays of my foot and now I have some non-surgical treatments to try and homework to do, but ultimately I may need surgery.

Hooray beach!

I know for our stuff, Zulily has the event, when it’s over they order what they’ve sold, we ship it to them and then they ship it to the consumers, so I bet it can be a pretty long time.

Totally sucks for the middle managers thrown into that. It’s terrible that they can’t even maintain safety, surely that isn’t strictly legal? My dad was on the management side of a couple of strikes at his refinery when I was a kid, he and coworkers were essentially locked in 24-7 to keep things running for the duration. I was too young to really remember that but I’ve heard stories. I know my mom was worried about hostility from the very pro union community we lived in, but there wasn’t any directed at us. Anyway, mgmt did have to maintain a minimum standard of operational competence because of the possibility of that happening.

Oof on probable surgery, but early intervention of whatever kind has got to be better than later.
