Meara, perhaps a combo of balance and ankle strengthening exercises would help? If you’re dancing less than before the pandemic, it could be that your ankles aren’t as strong as they use to be.
Natter 77: I miss my friends. I miss my enemies. I miss the people I talked to every day.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Hippo Birdies to all!
After I went to the trouble of annotating the forms, they sent me another email a little bit ago with fillable forms. Ha ha. Ha.
I am sorry to have laughed at that. That was just plain cruel.
Yay boosted JenP! Enjoy the relief of invincibility. (yeah I know not really, but as close as we can get)
one of the pre-appointment questions is “is this a work-related injury”
Hmm, I think a yes might be appropriate here, but likely not going to get you worker's comp.
Yeah. Insurance companies love to look for someone else to pay.
My sister caught her finger in my car window and wanted to pay with her most excellent health insurance but the hospital made us go through my car insurance. She regretted not just telling them she fell.
I also have a haircut appointment scheduled for Saturday and I need to make some decisions about What I Want.
This would be why I haven't had a haircut for many years.
Sounds like a lovely day, Matt.
Ouch, meara!! Also, what Calli said.
All the leaves are brown, and the sky is grey. Going to take a ride to where my son lives about 45 minutes away. The colors should be more vibrant there as it is warmer than here. Lower elevation. Onerous tasks of registering his car in NY and upgrading our phones. Getting so apps are looking for a newer OS. I like my 6s! I don't want change, but apparently, 13 is in my immediate future. Just need to locate a store with a pink one.
Oh, I am so saddened. I just found out this morning that a great guy and former colleague died last night. No details. Today was his last week at work, as he was being let go. He is someone I would not at all have been surprised to be working with again somewhere down the road, and that would have been delightful. Heartbreaking for his family and friends. He was also a least a decade younger than I am. Wrong on all the levels, whatever the details may be.
That is so sad, I am sorry to hear of this loss.
Oh, JenP, how sad. I'm sorry.
Thanks, -t and Laura.
Matt, megan, Cashmere - sorry to have missed your actual birthday, but I hope today is good!
Oh, that's rough, JenP.
I literally have no idea. I want to be able to walk into a new stylist and, rather than a pic from a magazine, hand them some notes and say, "do this."
I hear that. I'm only seeing this stylist for the second time, as the stylist I've had since I moved to San Francisco is in the wind. Instead of taking pictures from a magazine, I brought reference photos of my own hair last time, and new stylist said that actually was more helpful.
Mostly I just need to decide if I want to go with a taper cut like usual or do something dramatique.
I am sorry to have laughed at that. That was just plain cruel.
You absolutely should have laughed at that. It was a sad trombone moment.
In cometely light news, I found some Fall clothes I liked at Kohl's today when I made an Amazon return. So I bought them.
Of course, it's 80 degrees here today, so I'm not wearing any of them right now.
ETA: Thanks, shrift.
