I've been off doing a bunch of vision and medical adulting. I have a new pair of computer glasses because I'm an old, but not yet an old who requires bifocals. I also joined a walking competition at work to give me external motivation although I'm annoyed that it actually works on me. One thing I still need to do is find a psych if I want to get evaluated for ADHD, so I may as well make some notes about what my insurance plan offers on that when I do open enrollment.

Oh, god, open enrollment. That was mentioned in one of my meetings today and I immediately forgot about it! Probably I will make no changes but I do have to remember to look at what’s available
Being old I am really hoping this bill gets passed and glasses and dental get included in Medicare. That'd be super cool. I hear fine, but what a wonderful thing for the elderly to get hearing aids too. Those things are super costly.
I really really need to make an appointment for an eye exam and see if my near vision has gotten worse enough I can have stronger distance on my trifocals. Or at least find out how much a back up pair of glasses would cost if my vision isn't getting that bad.
I had today and I have tomorrow off. I should be doing things like figuring out what I'm going to take to the beach next week and figure out what kinds of groceries to order and stuff like that. Only I did my typical day off and mostly lay in the dark and then later nap. But I realized as busy and as hectic as it's been I need the sensory relief of dark and quiet (or mostly quiet).
And I played Minecraft with E.
Now it's 10:15 and I'm awake. Which isn't the best since I need to get in the habit of getting up earlier for work.
I’m taking out my anger in very subtle ways.
I support you getting through this however works. If you need an alibi, I am here. With you. And we were totally doing a thing.
And we were totally doing a thing.
It had better be buying vuvuzelas.
Cash, I am so very sorry for your loss, and also livid on your behalf.
Vuvuzelas or not, I've got your alternate alibi right here, should it be needed.
I own a vuvuzela and would be happy to ship it to friends in Indiana and ask them to go play it somewhere.
I love the offers of alibis and vuvuzelas.
Tonight’s coping mechanism is sponsored by Jefferson’s Bourbon.
Tomorrow will be hangover and shopping for funeral outfit with my sister.
That is excellent coping Bourbon.
