Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Health~ma to hippocampus and sj's aunt and uncle.

JZ, {hug} grief is the worst emotion. You are not at all ridiculous for getting weepy over a picture of a car. It's been years since we sold the farm, and it was the right decision and the man we sold it to loves it and cares for it better than we could, but sometimes I see an old photo or a certain way the magnolias bend and I still get sideswiped by the realization that I'll never walk on those fields or sit by that fireplace again. Eventually it mellows but grief never entirely goes away, that's why it's the worst.

Tr*mp getting smacked down by his Republican judges brings me little joy. But sometimes a little joy is enough.

What is even happening?

This is an utterly lovely story (in about 15 or 20 tweets, but there are lots of photos and a couple of short vids). [link]

You want to read it. [link]

You will feel a little better about humans, once you have read it. [link]

I think this woman is a Buffista spirit baby. [link]

All of these links lead to the same story. I just really want you to read it. [link]

A lot. [link]

move out and draw fire

Cindy, I just saw that on Twitter and started weeping in my car. (Matt, it's not an ita link)

I just wrote a long post here, but it should really be a blog post instead. Short version: Our friends asked us to introduce our god-daughter to D&D to help get us all through the quarantine (and help shore up online edu) and it's been great. Her little brother, our godson, "plays" also, although he's not quite ready to fully play. I think it's wonderful that it's socially acceptable now, but I also know it still isn't accepted by the MAGA world.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Do people remember me talking about my nephew D ages ago? We’ll he just graduated from college cum laude with a BS in applied mathematics!
