Jesse, you could always go with Chris Evans and feminism
Oooh, those are good answers.
I don't really have an active fandom these days either. I have things I like, but nothing I'm...I don't know, actively engaged in discourse around? Thank goodness there's a new Matrix movie coming out this year. (And new Dune! My fandoms are all as old as I am so bring on the remakes and sequels.)

I have no idea what the next steps are other than hoping that when the bank does their investigation it turns out to be a mistake rather than creepy identity theft???
If the bank is claiming that you walked into an actual brick-and-mortar branch and withdrew that money, surely they have security video footage from that branch. That seems like a good place to start.

I have really always been more fandom-adjacent than anything. I am a fan of fandom??

Also, possibly a good time to file a police report? Or at least call 311?
Sigh. My poor car, which I loaned to my sister for her drive to Canada, and which she then drove into a ditch so thoroughly that it required TWO tow trucks working together to lift it out, is not in fact fine, but has a bent brace bar which is grinding against the exhaust pipe. So I will be carless for another week while the parts come in.

This is how I feel, but I think it is at least partly a sort of impostor syndrome? In anything I am fannish about there is always someone way more into it that makes me look like a dilettante. But then, I often feel like dilettante is a good word for me in general, so maybe that's just accurate.
This will be the SECOND car my sister has crashed in a way that damaged the undercarriage and maybe next time she asks to borrow it I will say no.
meara, definitely file a police report!

I originally read this as your cat, and was quite concerned about the cat being hurt in an accident. Still sucks, but I am relieved for your imaginary kitty.
