Yay! Delighted for your friend, JenP.

Natter 77: I miss my friends. I miss my enemies. I miss the people I talked to every day.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
I spent over 4 hours and almost $400 today to get….a shitty uneven dye job
This is why I do my own haircolor. (I have a stylist I trust completely and who I'm sure would do a great job, but...a box of Colorista bleach + tube of dye from Sally's is less than $30. Even if the salon dye job looks great, it's not going to look 10x as great.)
Best of luck next week, sumi!
Yay! about the great news, Pix!
Yeah, sadly that’s where I’m at Jessica—I figured I was going pink so getting the bleach job right would be key, and I should’ve just trusted myself. So annoyed at the $$ much more than the actual result.
meara, I meant to say, that is such a bummer. Professionally done hair should make you feel fabulous and awesome! I bet you do look cute, though.
I am in the office and I can't gt my laptop+dock to talk to my monitor and keyboard so I am awkwardly typing on my laptop while leaning away from the stand up desk so the keyboard doesn't hit me in the face. Far from ergonomically sound. The one other person who is in the office this morning tried to help me but the simple solutions we could come up with were probably necessary but not sufficient...
Note to self, keep the talking to yourself more inside your head while in the office
Someone tell me to work.
Dana! Get your butt in gear! There is work to be done!
Eh, it’s Friday Dana. Surely work is not that important? (I too am having a hard time buckling down—I have multiple things I need to be doing but they’re all big complex things that aren’t due like, today, so…)
t, definitely keep the talking inside the head. But good luck with the ergonomics
I clearly have no problem telling adults what to do!
So, everyone, GET YOUR VACCINES!!! The life you save may be your own (or, somebody who legit can't get a vaccine rather than just doesn't want to).
I'm sorry about your husband's worrisome health issues, Laura. So much more complicated than getting a shot. I hope a multi-pronged approach of you, other loved ones, his doctor, and his personal motivation can help him get to a better place.
