NO CANCER! Benign!
Super news! Biopsies suck.
Fingers crossed, Laura.
I did major medical adulting today and got three shots: flu, tetanus, and shingles #1. Typing now since I suspect my arms may fall off at any moment.
Timelies all!
I don't like coffee, or coffee-flavored things. I tend to get my caffeine in the cold carbonated form, with the occasional chai latte.
Tea for me (Earl Grey. Hot.), and usually just one cup in the morning. Two if I'm super droopy. I do like coffee but can't drink it black, and it sometimes upsets my stomach, so I generally avoid it.
Super news! Biopsies suck. Both of these things are true.
Sending love to all. So. Tired.
megan - I have heard of people having bad reactions to flu and shingles together. fingers crossed not you.
I am at the parents'. Their retirement community is really nice, and we have walked all around. I cannot eat in any of the restaurants as a guest, so we have to put in orders and pick up to the eat at their apartment.
My father is still in the annoying habit of turning on radio or TV loud without asking anyone first. I am about to pick up and move to another room. Main reason I hate a house with only one living area for them.

Hmm, I wonder if that is just a bad shingles reaction? I was more worried about doing tetanus and shingles together.
Woo hoo Pix on the benign-ness!
Meanwhile, I have one more radiation treatment. I have this sore spot on my underarm for which I was prescribed silver sulfa something or other that comes in a giant tub!
They also gave me a lotion that had lidocaine to lessen the pain.
Otherwise, the skin is a bit itchy & I have one tanned & freckled breast & one plain, which is a bit weird.
Next week I go see the oncologist to find out about the wonderful world of anti-hormonal pills. My fear is that the smoothness of my radiation experience is going to be balanced by a horrendous anti-hormonal pill experience.
I am relieved to be almost done.
Awesome, sumi.
sumi, I'm so glad you're almost finished with radiation!

Shit, I keep forgetting to get my shingles shot. I should do that before vacation (which we are, oddly, pretty well-prepared for: plane tickets, AirBnB, rental car, cat boarding).
