I want to torture you. I used to love it, and it's been a long time. I mean, the last time I tortured someone, they didn't even have chainsaws.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

Jess, I had no idea! No wonder you're okay with it - substitute Mom/teacher for the Queen, and it's a lot of our origin stories!

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I feel like I knew it just from the name, but the details make it very clear!

79% each for Charlie from Lost and Pippin Took which is amusing me more than it probably should.

Bwahahaha!

I had no idea that was twilight sparkles story but I love it!! I got 88% Bernadette from Big Bang Theory (I’ve only watched a few eps?) and the rest of my top five were Rhonda from The Wire (never watched) and Miranda from Sex in the City (I do not deny!), Molly from Booksmart (I don’t remember which one she is but ok!) and Hermoine. Seems legit.

Thrive to spite them

I should retake the test and see what it says.

Went to the dentist- I need a crown so they went ahead and put in the temporary crown. My tooth doesn't hurt but everything is sore for all the pressing down/up, holding my jaw open, etc. It was at the very back and the part broken off at a weird angle.

The upside is that they didn't need to build up the area (building up is an added expense) AND I had some kind of credit on file. So once the insurance pays it will be maybe $300 (I hope) instead of $800.

Also my dentist said it was amazing to see the improvement I've made in how I handle the dentist office from the first time. I started going there not long after I moved to NC so he's seen me when I could barely get through a cleaning without having an anxiety attack/crying - to agreeing to have a crown done right then and then not having too much trouble with it. Except when they had to mess with my gums there was a newer hygienist who was having trouble with one thing and she finally handed it over the more experienced person watching/training her just before I got to the point where I was going to have to ask her to please stop and have the other one take over.

I stopped and got ice cream and comfort foods and E skyped me to ask if I would be free and so we set up a time to chat/play minecraft.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Isn't it amazing what a difference a really good dentist can make? I had a horrible one when I was a kid but after I'd moved out on my own and could pick one, I got this wonderful, gentle reassuring dentist. It took a while, but I finally learned to relax once I got used to the idea that he'd do a good job and not hurt me (at least no more than necessary).

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

That's awesome, Skye! The dentist's office is sensory hell for me, even for a regular cleaning.
