Isn't it amazing what a difference a really good dentist can make? I had a horrible one when I was a kid but after I'd moved out on my own and could pick one, I got this wonderful, gentle reassuring dentist. It took a while, but I finally learned to relax once I got used to the idea that he'd do a good job and not hurt me (at least no more than necessary).

Natter 77: I miss my friends. I miss my enemies. I miss the people I talked to every day.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Also my dentist said it was amazing to see the improvement I've made in how I handle the dentist office from the first time.
That's awesome, Skye! The dentist's office is sensory hell for me, even for a regular cleaning.
Ok re did the test and came up with Liz Lemon as the first person, then Flynn White of Breaking Bad (I know nothing of him), Kate Pearson (This is Us)--not really sure about her, Shaun from Shaun of the Dead. Tina Belcher was 11 and Bob Belcher was 18. And Stuart Bloom from Big Bang Theory was 13.
I guess I can't be too unhappy about getting 2 Belchers in my top 20. It would be cooler if I had Louise but I'm not evil and scheming enough to be Louise.
I checked the quiz ... I came out as Brandon Stark (at 77%) followed by a bunch of people I didn't recognize. Obviously, I need to get more invested in streaming and all the TV shows I don't watch. Willow did turn up as did Daniel Jackson, to help me keep my nerd credentials. Also Castiel.
oh dear ... Charlie Watts has died
Yeah, I saw that about Watts. I wonder if that will put an end to the touring. His last performance was in Miami and I missed it. Sniff.
That’s great that you’re doing so much better askye!
I woke up feeling…not like I actually have to cough, but that tickle in your chest/top of the lungs you get before you cough? It doesn’t actually get to the point of making me cough though. So I popped over for a covid test at lunch. It’s probably heartburn and anxiety (I’ve had a lot of the former and some of the latter) but fingers crossed. I have plans I don’t want to cancel so I sure hope it’s nothing.
Laura - Watts had already withdrawn from the tour due to ill health.
Timelies all!
Work has been aggravating lately. One of my coworkers is not vaccinated. Regulations say that everyone has to be vaccinated, so our supervisor told her to get it done ASAP. The coworker said she couldn't because she had a cold(and came to work anyways). She tested positive for COVID-19. All this happened while I was away, so I didn't have to talk to the medical people.(I got tested on Friday anyways. It was negative.) Another co-worker was out sick and was waiting on test results. A third coworker had taken leave for this week.
Yesterday there were three of us to process samples. One of the three had car trouble, so he was out today. The other person came in late, as we had no one to cover the late shift. It was ridiculously busy all day. I am wiped out.
Geez, Sheryl. That's a lot.
