NYC will be making vaccination mandatory for indoor dining starting in September, but some places are starting to require it beforehand. I just used my Excelsior Pass for the first time on Saturday.
'Out Of Gas'
Natter 77: I miss my friends. I miss my enemies. I miss the people I talked to every day.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Excelsior Pass
NGL, I love that name.
UGH my mother-in-law just spouted the nonsense that kids don't get that sick from covid and that wearing masks could be bad for them. WHYYYYY.
Isn't she in Texas? Where the PICUs are at capacity? Jeezis, Dana.
No, not in Texas. But she's also not in a magical place where masks work differently. She's just contaminated by Fox News.
Sigh.
Excelsior Pass
Um, I would like one of these no matter what it is, but I gather it is a Vax prover. Off to google.
New York State only, I'm afraid.
I threw out my vax card back in February.
In my defense, I had thought to myself, "I'll never need this! In thirty years, somebody going through my estate papers is going to find it and say 'I wonder what the hell this was for?'"
At any rate, fast-forward to last week, and I went to a Walgreen's, which had come to our assisted living residence, and got a replacement, which I'm now going to laminate and keep in my purse for always.
Attaching it to a lanyard and wearing it around my neck is probably overkill.
No, don't laminate it, in case there is a need for later entries.
