The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

No, don't laminate it, in case there is a need for later entries.

New York State only, I'm afraid.

My life is so unfair.

Ugh, sorry Dana. My in-laws used to live in the FoxNewsVerse, but have moved on to the NewsMax-OAN-Verse.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

ION: I have a Google Home Mini in my living room. Whenever I ask her a question, I always say thank you after she answers me. (Part force of habit, part when Skynet takes over I want her to stick up for me!) Mostly I say, "thank you," and that's it, but every so often she comes back with a, "you're so welcome!" or "I'm glad you're pleased!" and it's freaking me out a tiny bit. I feel like I'm making the Skynet thing come closer by engaging with her...or something.

NewsMax-OAN-Verse

Not sure what this is. Have a feeling I wish to remain ignorant.

Newsmax and OAN are where you go when Fox News is too liberal.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Good plan, Epic. Never hurts to be polite to the maybe-rulers of the future.

I'm really sorry Dana, Sparky. Other people, man.

Sympathies, Pix. I haven't contributed to the conversation, I'm sorry. Going through this with my mom, then H's mom and his brother practically at the same time leaves me no spoons to revisit that place. All possible best to you and yours though, as you navigate it.

A friend gave us plastic sleeves for our vax cards, and H found us clips for our collar, pocket, shirt hem, whathaveyou, with retractable leashes for the plastic sleeve. Less intrusive than lanyards.

Oh Laura--it's always something. At least it's fixed, and you guys will be there soon.

And yay, Matilda! I'm so glad for her that she's seeing her people again!

I got a plastic sleeve for mine and stowed it in a zippered pocket of my purse. I also took a picture of it and saved it to my Favorites folder on my phone, because it seemed like a good idea to have a picture in case a pterodactyl steals my purse with my actual vax card in it. (What? It could happen.) (I guess if my phone is in my purse when the pterodactyl steals it, then I'm screwed.) (I may not have thought this pterodactyl plan through very well.)

Our wings are not tired.

We made it to Otter Lake and unloaded the vehicle. Animals are happy again. Tired.

I need to do something with my vax card which sits in my wallet now but needs a sleeve at least.
