"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

He gave his blessing not to be there and said he knows how I am. I told him I'd go for emotional support if he wanted but he insisted. This is a big reason why we get along so well. It's nice when someone gets your neurodivergence. He has ADHD too so he gets that part.

That is sweet support.

He was up and down and rolling around the ground in a Home Depot parking lot in Daytona Beach for about 4 hours. Between his brawn and my engineering, we got it all fixed up.

That is way more toil than you want to start a trip!

Even though she had her outfit planned, and was up early, Matilda still had to run out the door in frantic anxiety to catch her Muni bus for the first day school.

But she made it.

Went to my local cafe this morning and they had the new SF Dept. of Health signs up indicating the mandate for Masks and Vax for going inside restaurants and stores. They didn't card me or anything (and I do have the QR code on my phone, plus my physical vaccination card), but it's good to see the mandate normalized.

We're in the shadow of the UCSF medical school with lots of doctors and med students here, so it's not going to be an issue in my neighborhood.

Oh geez, Sparky that's awful.

Had a bad weekend. I can't help but keep making mistakes apparently.

Sorry about the bad weekend, Gud. If it's any consolation, none of the rest of us can help making mistakes either.

NYC will be making vaccination mandatory for indoor dining starting in September, but some places are starting to require it beforehand. I just used my Excelsior Pass for the first time on Saturday.

UGH my mother-in-law just spouted the nonsense that kids don't get that sick from covid and that wearing masks could be bad for them. WHYYYYY.

Isn't she in Texas? Where the PICUs are at capacity? Jeezis, Dana.

No, not in Texas. But she's also not in a magical place where masks work differently. She's just contaminated by Fox News.

Excelsior Pass

Um, I would like one of these no matter what it is, but I gather it is a Vax prover. Off to google.
