I just got back from a long weekend with some old family friends we haven't seen in almost 3 years (we used to live in the same building, now we are in different states). Our sons have been playing D&D online together for the past year and this weekend we were able to get the entire crew together for their first in-person session (all outdoors, all 13+ and vaccinated).
Now I'm waiting for the CVS Covid test scheduler thingy to load so I can schedule the entire family for pre-Canada border crossing tests. We are holding our collective breaths that the threatened border agent strike won't fuck everything up.

Good morning? I stayed up too late watching the olympics but it was still fun. This morning work is extra annoying because I took Friday off. And because some emails are mysteriously not making it to my inbox (important ones!) and not going to spam or clutter and IT can’t explain why. Grrr

Took my son and GF to get their jabbination this morning, and have concluded that I am not the biggest baby in the land. My son takes that honor. Good grief. But it is done. Phew. This is why I went with J&J. I knew I could never get him there twice.
