Ugh, sorry msbelle! Everyone in this area had huge mouse battles last year. It was the topic of conversation with all the neighbors. Since my son was with me I had these traps and he would release the critters into the woods. [link] I used peanut butter as the lure. Many others preferred the bucket method, either with water for the demise of the critter, or dry for release.
My biggest issue was my cats who thought they were super fun toys while my son and/or his girlfriend would screech and try and save them. They usually were successful.
See if someone can get you a stray cat, msbelle. Thanks to the mama cat in the back alley I haven't had a mouse in my apartment for the past 8 years.
Yes, I actually brought some used litter to my niece to scatter around the perimeter of the house to fool the mice into thinking there was a cat around.
In who is following us news, my recipe newsletter from the Washington Post this morning featured Cherry clafoutis.
I am finally getting around to watching the original Leverage (at the time I never did because...reasons? I have no idea) and I'm enjoying it but WOW the early 2000s had A Look, didn't they.
Jessica, you are not wrong! I've been doing a rewatch and WOW.
Today is our last day of vacation. Yesterday was spent with Bev and her good spouse (there was Leverage watching); today we will see my goddaughter and her family for the first time in four years. This was also a scouting mission for our next (and possibly last) home, since Bainbridge is doing its utmost to turn into Mercer Island West. I scored a first edition of Le Guin's Always Coming Home, with the cassette, for $12 at a bookstore in Anacortes, so it's currently my favorite.
but WOW the early 2000s had A Look, didn't they.
Ooh, I'm curious. What is the Look of the Early '00s?
The hair and the camera angles and the lighting and the pacing, all of it. This is a show Of Its Time.
If anyone is interested in Leverage you need to watch the original before watching the new series.
They aren't spending anytime catching people up.. even within the show.
I agree. The history is important. I haven't watched in a while, but can't wait to dive into the new so I didn't re-watch.
