I guess I live in the tropics now, because every day has a chance of rain, not even including today's drenching from Elsa. Feh.
I've seen videos of the New York subways ... people going through waist-deep water, stairs that are waterfalls. Also one of an office - with people trying to return - more than ankle-deep in water. eesh
Oh yeah, we had a day like that when I lived there, and I eventually made it to the office, right as my colleague who was also my neighbor was calling in that she couldn't get there! Haha.
I've been melting since about 10 am and tomorrow is supposed to be hotter. Rain sounds pleasant, although too much would be a problem even so.
