Didn't feel it!
Personally, I'd rather deal with the pits when eating then pit the cherries.
I bought a cherry-pitter this year just for clafoutis.
Speaking of coping mechanisms, I have a highly fiddly technical analysis I have to do, and I have spent most of the week doing other shit (that also needed to be done) because I dislike this task enormously. Sigh. Working on it now. Except part of the task involves getting quotes from charter companies on how much it would cost to rent a charter boat in Long Beach Harbor, and I'm all "don't wanna". Bah.
Being the boss means you don't get to dodge all your responsibilities.
Timelies all!
The coffee bar in my building that makes vanilla chai lattes has reopened. Yay!(They've been closed since last March)
Didn't feel it!
Huh! It was a long one that had my TV and computer monitor rattling and hard to pinpoint which one with all the earthquake activity, but probably was the 5.9 out of Smith Valley, NV.
I was able to access the new Leverage thru Prime. I’m trying to keep myself to one episode per day to make it last.

This was me, BUT…

Although I have not tested it yet.

I'm incapable of that kind of self-control.
Leaving the cherry pits in clafoutis is supposed to make it more almond-y and I'm pro that!
I do not have a cherry pitter but last year found out my reusable metal straws are pretty perfect for that.
Went for a walk with a friend and the dog got covered in what I fear is foxtail grass, which if I don't get it out of his fur could really hurt him. So I spent quite a while digging through his fur (HE HAS SO MUCH FUR) but doubt I really got all of them, though I got bunches. Also worried there's some in his paws or he ate it or sniffed it and it will tunnel through to his brain and kill him (I've heard horror stories!)
Clafoutis is my hammock stand.
I think the cherries occluded my hammock signal.
I am near Bev and we will watch tomorrow!
Vacation has consisted of oversleeping, eating food I didn't cook, hanging out at Bev's and going to many bookstores not generally close to me. Oh, and attending a fireworks display with Ken on the 4th, then tromping around the Bellevue Botanical Gardens with him the next day. Hadn't seen him since Christmas; there was a lot of hugging.
