Thankfully we had a huge Thanksgiving gathering for the big, fundie Trump follower side of my family last year, so we'd have naturally broken apart to smaller nuclear family holidays without the pandemic. The other side of my family is small, smart, and full of medical personnel, so I have few worries about safety measures in the increasingly unlikely event that we do get together for Thanksgiving. Probably it'll be just me and Mom, with our one cousin invited but abstaining. I scored a huge pan of frozen Savannah Classics dressing—give me a turkey breast or rotisserie chicken from the supermarket and we're set.
Natter 77: I miss my friends. I miss my enemies. I miss the people I talked to every day.

There’s a set time for DX’s remembrance? Did I miss a memo?
Details are in Shir’s profile.
For both our sakes, I'm glad to live downstairs from my mother. Also, she is the one who is going to give me COVID, not the other way around! She's always seeing friends.

Edited: Umm, do we know who (Jen) is who isn't JenP?
Shir, maybe Cass.
Also, I don't think I signed up as such, but I hope to participate.
Thanks, Laura. I'll send to you and Cass the details.

Timelies all!
Had a bit of a scare with my folks. My dad called this morning to say my mom had been feeling poorly so he took her to the hospital. (She was being treated for an UTI.) He just called back an hour ago to say she was dehydrated, had been treated and was going to go home once she got dressed. Whew!
Good to hear she was taken care of quickly, Sheryl. It is so easy to get dehydrated.
