Yay Matt’s mom!
I am side eyeing Tino already.
Spent part of today at a friend’s where she had a window unit ac in her bedroom (but it didn’t work great) and part at a brewery way far north of town but that had ac and allowed dogs. Mostly enjoyed the two hours of driving because at least my car has air conditioning!!!

Definitely a better strategy than suffering in your apartment.
Happy Birthday Venerable Hec! may the next 60 treat you as well.
I did a site visit today in Sonoma County and GOT A TICK IN MY HAIR!!!! So upset.
But ended the day with a nice dinner at the Lake Chalet in Oakland, and never noticed the earthquake.
I refuse to believe that TCBITW is old enough to get married.

Uncool! Stay away, Ticks! You are the ultimate garbage mouth disease vector!
Good news, Matt!
Happy Birthday +1, David! (Totally a thing.)
My root is canalled. Waiting for my drugs now. Next appt: permanent crown for this tooth.
After drugs, I'm getting a milkshake.
Is anyone else watching Everything is Going to Be OK, because I am in love.
I LOVE Everything is Going to be OK! I keep recommending it to people!

I am totally freaking out on your behalf!

I wish you good drugs!
Glad to hear Mom is doing well, Matt!
I am in the office today. We're back on full time as of this week. I am not pleased. We get newsletters from corporate that are all, "We acknowledge WFH works, we're totally embracing the new flexibility!" But at the local level it's more, "We don't actually care what's better for you, we like butts in seats!" SMH
Never heard of 'Everything is Going to be OK', but now I'm curious.
My workplace is moving to three days in office and two days working remote optional. Though it looks like I'll be gone before that goes into effect.
Bummer, Epic! I just signed my official hybrid plan, it needs to go to HR next for approval which I had thought was just a formality but apparently some people are concerned that they will think too many of us are taking advantage of the flexibility. We shall see. If it goes through as currently outlined I'll be in the office 2 days a week, wfh 3 starting next week (after the holiday, which I keep forgetting about)
Ugh, ticks! Sorry, Consuela.
Happy Birthday +1, David! (Totally a thing.)
Thank you!
My root is canalled.
It's so much better to have that in the past tense.
