Badass, indeed, Tep!

Natter 77: I miss my friends. I miss my enemies. I miss the people I talked to every day.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
I would try that drink.
Does he know about the Amazon job yet?
why yes, it seems he does. I've asked twice in the last week and got ZERO response, so I assumed No, but when I texted that a fixing the car was not going to happen and I was not sure how fast a new used car could be purchased, so he should seek shifts at the work location of current job that is walkable and start applying at every other place he can walk to, I IMMEDIATELY got a snippy sarcastic angry text about "oh, I guess I'll just quit the Amazon job then, THANKS".
My son, the incommunicative, entitled, drama king.
Now I am looking at flights to Texas to go trade in his broken down car and get him something reliable THIS WEEKEND. The Amazon job seems the best option to getting him to self-reliance.
{{msbelle}} Parenting, in my experience, often sucks.
Badass Indeed!! I feel like a badass if I am up past 11 in my own living room. When we were in the Keys last weekend I didn't get home until midnight or so and felt super badass.
Oh, mac. Sigh.
I'm just so tickled that Tep gets a "when I closed the bar on my 50th birthday" story - fantastic!
I'm glad he got the job, and that kid is -- lucky ain't the word, but it'll have to do for now -- to have you. Oh, man, that TEXT! Good car finding -ma to you.
It's in development by Rosenbaum and Welling and not a sure thing, I think? That news got a bit overshadowed by the recent SPN shenanigans, though.
Yeah, the Smallville news even hit my corner fandom, in between us gossiping over the SPN thing and flipping out over the photo of Hugh & Mads that Bryan Fuller posted on Twitter.
Flying out at 5am tomorrow and will be back home by midnight tomorrow night. 1 day to trade in a car and get a new one.
Wow
Jeez, msbelle, you're impressive.
I think I have made my choice of the new state legislature for my district: this is the person we are electing because Biden won the presidency, and Harris was replaced as Senator by Becerra, and Becerra was replaced as State AG by Bonta, and this is the race to fill Bonta's seat. Dominoes!
I do think I will not vote for Bonta's wife: I'm kind of done with political dynasties.
My poor pup is in week 4 of chronic diarrhea. Still haven't found the problem, and I'm getting tired of cooking up white rice and ground turkey for her. Next stop is a broad-spectrum dewormer, sigh.
