I'm sorry. You were going to ask me to choose, right? Did you want to finish?

BADASS BIRTHDAY TEP!

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I also had 2 whole cocktails! They were very purple, but not like frat house Purple Drank out of a trash can. They were made with creme de violette, bourbon, and champagne, and I only ordered the first one because the cocktail was named after the elephant (seriously) for whom the bar was named (it just seemed like the polite thing to do). And then it was tasty enough to get a second. My friends tried to get me to order a third, and I had to explain that I drink like twice a month at most these days and a third cocktail would put my ass under the table.

If you drink more coffee it will automatically italicize.

Noted! I will try again later.

Msbelle, that sucks. Does he know about the Amazon job yet?

Love the MCU talk!

Jesse, I went out to dinner with friends Wed: a) we met at 5:30p, and b) I could only finish half my cocktail! I feel ya'.

Ooh, super fancy! I would like a fancy purple drink named after an elephant. Remind me when I have my life together enough to do something like stocking a bar that I should get creme de violette, ok?

Badass, indeed, Tep!

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I would try that drink.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Does he know about the Amazon job yet?

why yes, it seems he does. I've asked twice in the last week and got ZERO response, so I assumed No, but when I texted that a fixing the car was not going to happen and I was not sure how fast a new used car could be purchased, so he should seek shifts at the work location of current job that is walkable and start applying at every other place he can walk to, I IMMEDIATELY got a snippy sarcastic angry text about "oh, I guess I'll just quit the Amazon job then, THANKS".

My son, the incommunicative, entitled, drama king.

Now I am looking at flights to Texas to go trade in his broken down car and get him something reliable THIS WEEKEND. The Amazon job seems the best option to getting him to self-reliance.

Our wings are not tired.

{{msbelle}} Parenting, in my experience, often sucks.

Badass Indeed!! I feel like a badass if I am up past 11 in my own living room. When we were in the Keys last weekend I didn't get home until midnight or so and felt super badass.

Oh, mac. Sigh.

I'm just so tickled that Tep gets a "when I closed the bar on my 50th birthday" story - fantastic!

I'm glad he got the job, and that kid is -- lucky ain't the word, but it'll have to do for now -- to have you. Oh, man, that TEXT! Good car finding -ma to you.
