Fingers crossed, Calli!
Natter 77: I miss my friends. I miss my enemies. I miss the people I talked to every day.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Good luck, Calli!
Drew, I can't believe you had to have a flight adventure in the middle of your already epic adventure. I'm glad you had a good first day.
Calli, good luck with the interview.
Teppy, I'm sorry I missed your birthday. I hope it was a good one.
I move that shrift and Dana relocate to the same city. Call for seconds.
Woo, Calli!
Seconded for discussion, Cindy
Man, if only. I wish I could recommend a big city in Texas, but I can't.
We are finally doing the shuffling around of tasks and responsibilities that our last reorg was supposed to be for! It's an ugly looking plan, we will be done around the middle of August and then we get to actually try to do the new tasks and so forth so I'm sure that will be fun for some time into the future. But at least the way things are scheduled I get to give away some of my current tasks before I get full responsibility for new ones, so that's nice for me.
Yes, prioritizing getting rid of tasks over getting new ones is a good thing.
Well, we have had several months of just getting new responsibilities and being told that our current tasks would shift eventually, so I wouldn't say anyone was prioritizing it...but it's better than it might be for me personally
Today we had a staff cookout at work -- senior management grilled and served the rest of us. Not that it's a large or out of touch mgt . I am once again reminded that there are way worse places to work.
Thanks, y'all!
-t, I hope the reorg works out well for you.
It is an utterly gorgeous day here. I think our debilitating heat went up to the Pacific Northwest instead. Sorry, Seattle and Portlanders.
