Yes, prioritizing getting rid of tasks over getting new ones is a good thing.

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Well, we have had several months of just getting new responsibilities and being told that our current tasks would shift eventually, so I wouldn't say anyone was prioritizing it...but it's better than it might be for me personally
Today we had a staff cookout at work -- senior management grilled and served the rest of us. Not that it's a large or out of touch mgt . I am once again reminded that there are way worse places to work.
Thanks, y'all!
-t, I hope the reorg works out well for you.
It is an utterly gorgeous day here. I think our debilitating heat went up to the Pacific Northwest instead. Sorry, Seattle and Portlanders.
Happy Teppy birthday week!
Tim is still working second shift (though hopefully not for much longer), but I did go get a drink with friends last night, and the bar's patio allows dogs, so I got to pet a very chonky VERY friendly bulldog many many times. And then I came home and watched Loki. Really, all I could ask for out of a birthday.
Timelies all!
Back to work today for me. (Gary took the whole week off)
Laura, I just saw a story on that building collapse - horrific!
The number of people holding their breath and number of people still unaccounted for is horrific for sure. I don't trust so many of the cheaply built condos. Ugh.
Petting chonky dogs for the win!
I move that shrift and Dana relocate to the same city. Call for seconds.
I think the fact that I'd rather be too cold than too hot is a fundamental stumbling block, but I'm willing to entertain your motion.
