In other news, I am now a proud great aunt for the second time. My niece in law had a baby boy this morning. (6 lb, 14 oz) Both she and the baby are doing fine. My sister's going to love getting her grandma on at close range—the other grand child is three states away.

The status is NOT quo.
I finished my last summer class, texted "YAY SUMMER" to a friend and then got the call. But he's at the hospital now and they are admitting him, most likely. I am taking a red eye and will be there before dawn tomorrow. I bought a one-way ticket. I have no idea how long I will be there. His dementia is also getting worse. He's apparently showed up at his friend's multiple times asking for a ride to the airport for a trip that isn't supposed to happen until July 7.
