At work I alternate between an ordinary decent quality office chair and an exercise ball. The ball is fun. And I have a lot less knee and hip pain since I don't sit still long enough to stiffen up. It totally would not work for sitting crisscross applesauce, though, so I don't know why I brought it up.

I loved my ball office chair. Just bounced around from time to time. Helped with back discomfort.

Sitting criss-cross apple sauce would open your hips up completely. So you might be getting nerve compression like sciatica at work. Can you get a new chair at work?

Yes, I think this is what it is. It is like sciatica but in the front of my leg. I found some stretches for it that help. But I am sad because I have been cured fir a year! So weird. But yesterday at the Fast and the Furriest parade I just wanted to leave to get Advil!

I’m trying to go to Costco but am stuck behind a drawbridge that has been up for >10 min and seems to not be going down any time soon. Grrr. Bad timing.

Just got back from a lovely weekend visiting both sides of our families. And the house is clean, because a friend stayed to hang with the cats, so I did a deep clean before we left. Nice! Now, I nap.

I went to a ski club event at a park and there were over 50 people there! So great to see so many people in person, and meet some new or prospective members. Plus a couple of very cute dogs.

That said, skiing is a hella white sport.

Just got back from the Book Club meeting. Only 6 people there, mostly because some have already gone north and some are still hesitant to meet. We did gather outside on the patio of a really lovely waterfront home. I was curious and checked it on Zillow and they have it over 2 million. I liked all of them. I had brought printouts of the top picks in 3 categories on Goodreads for the next book discussion not knowing that as the newbie to the group they were going to go with my pick. I was absurdly tickled to get out and meet new people. The hostess was a retired teacher/principal and she totally controlled us all and brought us back to the book when we went off on tangents. It was amusing to see her teacher side so obvious.

I have also been reading and not posting, but hi! I have been thinking all the appropriate reactions!

Has sumi been around? I'm wondering how her treatment is going.
