Sir? I'd like you to take the helm, please. I need this man to tear all my clothes off.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

I went to a ski club event at a park and there were over 50 people there! So great to see so many people in person, and meet some new or prospective members. Plus a couple of very cute dogs.

That said, skiing is a hella white sport.

Our wings are not tired.

Just got back from the Book Club meeting. Only 6 people there, mostly because some have already gone north and some are still hesitant to meet. We did gather outside on the patio of a really lovely waterfront home. I was curious and checked it on Zillow and they have it over 2 million. I liked all of them. I had brought printouts of the top picks in 3 categories on Goodreads for the next book discussion not knowing that as the newbie to the group they were going to go with my pick. I was absurdly tickled to get out and meet new people. The hostess was a retired teacher/principal and she totally controlled us all and brought us back to the book when we went off on tangents. It was amusing to see her teacher side so obvious.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I have also been reading and not posting, but hi! I have been thinking all the appropriate reactions!

Has sumi been around? I'm wondering how her treatment is going.

My book club met outside but in person last meeting in may, and it was so nice! Glad yours worked out, Laura!!

It feels a lot later than 6pm somehow. I just ate way too much because I went to Costco while I was hungry and then came home and chowed down on chicken tikka masala, lemon cheesecake, a couple of fruit snacks, and a giant bag of cheese and caramel popcorn. The popcorn was a mistake.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I can't think which thread I need to ask in, and I'm impatient to know, so, here. Leverage 2.0 is --well, not airing, we don't do broadcast anymore. But--erm, dropping? this week. Where would one go to view it? Do I need to sign up for some service I don't already have? Damn, I need a manager to juggle services, memberships and payments. Cable was easier. Also, lawn? Gerroff.

My manners--thanks for any help.

You've got friends to have good times with. When you need to share the trauma of a badly-written book with someone, that's when you go to family.

Bev, it's July 9th on IMDb.tv, which is free but will likely have commercials? IIRC, the first eight drop at once.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Morning! Tons of ~ma and love to all who need it.

We went to Mom's this past weekend for the first time since the pandemic, and we left ltc there to spend a couple days with her grandparents. It was her first overnight and she did great. Mom and Stepdad are driving her home tomorrow. The house is so quiet that I don't know what to do with myself.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Gronk. Monday, why do soon.

Matt, I hope you mom gets what she needs asap.

My mom is getting some tests results today and we are not expecting good news. Results were in on Friday, but Dr called and said come in first thing Monday. Should know in just over an hour or so.

Much more minor, but annoying, I have some sort of rash on my upper chest. I think a heat rash, but not sure. It gets bad a night and is itchy. I am watching it carefully to see if it is spreading (that would indicate NOT heat rash). Currently putting cold cloth and Aveeno calamine lotion on it. The lotions and sunscreen over the weekend may also be an issue.

~ma for better results than expected, msbelle. Stress can cause an itchy rash outbreak too.
