Matt, how's your mom?
Not feeling great and frustrated that the hospital still hasn't called to schedule her surgery.

I'm sorry, Matt. I hope they get their act together and take care of her soon. Health~ma
Happy Birthday, Dana!
Yay for good dental exams!
Matt - that's so frustrating in top of the worry for your mom. I'm sorry.
That is a very difficult spot to be in, Matt.
Waiting is awful. I hope your mom hears from the hospital soon, Matt.
Timelies all!
We went to the zoo this afternoon. We had timed passes for the Asia Trail, so we got to see the pandas.(They were in the panda house, which makes sense because it was 90 and sunny today.)
How did your son handle losing Nova? I know some kids react badly and others don't even seem to notice. Kids be weird.
I'm not sure how he's handling it. Sometimes it seems like he understands that Nova's not coming back, other times I'm not sure. He's been asking when we can get another cat. (Answer: not sure, as we'd like to see how Luna's doing without her sister and introducing a new cat can be stressful.)
He’s processing no doubt. I like having the two cats. They groom and snuggle together. Older cats aren’t particularly fond of new ones though. Tricky.
Random D-Day thought: My parents were married June 10 1944, which I didn't realize was 4 days after D-Day until I probably 30 years old. Mom traveled to Ohio, where Dad was stationed in the Air Force.
