Laura, you are doing great! You are making good choices, and it will pay off.
Thanks, all. I am happy to be home.
I also love the work I do. I love learning how to do it better, I love knowing that as I learn, I do better by the people I support.

It is such important work that you do, WindSparrow. The people you care for are so fortunate, and deserving, to receive your compassionate care.
It's Friday, and June already. How is this year going by so quickly? I remember Mom saying that the years are like a toilet paper roll in that they go faster and faster as you get older. Well, thanks for being right again there mother.
⭐ Toss the confetti and celebrate Dana's birthday today! ⭐ I do hope it is the very best year.
Happy birthday, Dana!
Happy Birthday, Dana!
Happy birthday, Dana!
Matt, how's your mom?
Happy birthday Dana!!
How is it already June? I still feel like it’s MAYBE may….of 2020
Happy birthday, Dana!
Thank you, thank you. We went out to a Brazilian steak house for lunch, and I guess I'm not allowed to go right into a meat coma, but it's tempting.
That sounds like a properly indulgent birthday lunch, Dana! Hope the rest of the day is happy for you!

Laura, thanks.
The thing is, they are just people, they just want to live their lives, go to work, do their stuff, have some fun, have some friends, have some love in their lives. Yes, I care about these folks deeply. And so very yes, this job plays to my strengths and makes my ADHD weaknesses easy to work around. They aren't inspiring, I'm not a hero. We both walk and/or make use of mobility devices. We both talk and/or communicate without words. We both shop. We both sneeze. We both fight fires when the floods roll back.
But anyone who spends as much time singing, dancing, and laughing at work as I do, has a pretty good job.
ETA, I hope my tone here is not overbearing or harsh. I'm trying to be lyrical about the joy of the ordinary here.
