Hey, man, she trusted the universal karma, and it worked!
Natter 77: I miss my friends. I miss my enemies. I miss the people I talked to every day.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Good thing I had a PI on the case! Because I doubt she was going to check her FB message any time soon.
Yeah I’ve definitely seen stuff posted on next door and buy nothing and stuff being like “if you’re Anna Smith, or know her, I have something of hers that she lost!”
Rainy Memorial Day weekend here. Yesterday I went to a dinner for highschool friend’s birthday outside of DC. Really lovely to see and hug people.
Today I am going to cook and clean.
Good morning! To those of you hoping to leave Bainbridge Island by ferry today, hope you like queueing: the smaller boat that replaced the one that's out for six months due to an engine fire is itself out, and has been replaced with an even smaller boat. What this means in practice is that 58 fewer vehicles will be boarding on every other crossing.
Bev and I had the most fun of all funs to be had, with bonus long drives in the Mini, a stop for Top Pot donuts and time at the Skagit Valley Co-op. Today Jim and I are relaxing/hiding from visitors and will only leave to get milk. Now for waffles!
Timelies all!
The day started out well, with me sleeping until just before the alarm, and Mr. S not getting up until after 8, but alas, no. He's been disruptive and annoying all day.
I'm doing a bunch of cleaning/clearing out this weekend, and I just spent an hour going through stacks of old photos. WHY did I waste so much film on scenery, past me? I tossed all of those.
Now I have to figure out if it's worth getting the remaining photos scanned. I have some nice pics of folks I went to law school with, 30 years ago...
parker and her spouse are the best guests! There were indeed, many hugs. And much laughter as well.
After such a long drought, one visit and I'm spoiled. I like this hugging stuff!
Hugs are the best! It pleases me so to visualize you enjoying each others company.
I had hugs yesterday as well! Old neighbors and friends enjoyed food and socialization. Fed my grandson and rocked him to sleep. His mom was working remotely the whole day, and is today as well. Her schedule is now Sunday-Thursday. DH and I work today as well, but that is a 365 day a year thing. Also doing housework and preparing food stuffs for the billiard boys later.
Timelies all!
The board's pretty quiet today..
