The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

...can't be the ones who expose her.

I have said the same to my own nearby relatives.

I got kittens, 8 wks. Thursday.

I’ve been following along but barely faking being human, so no words. Saved what I had for a void unlikely to respond & cat pics.

Anyway, so yeah, a sandkitten and a greybie werekitten (weirdest coat) & I think I need a name for the werekitten... P&L are 75% clueless, I think? Hinked, but right now passed out as normal.

Herding cats for fun

Box full of kittens! Oh happiness! Don’t settle for Sandy and Smoky.

Yay kittens! I’m finishing Queens Gambit, and once again hoping against hope the puppy will let me sleep tomorrow morning and tonight.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Oh Cindy, I'm sorry, it's difficult. And I understand. The smarty-pants parents of mine decided to counter-back now with the "we're going outside here and there anyhow, the chances that it'll be you that will expose us are minor" argument, so it might be a good time to return screaming at them for COVID denial. There are not enough whys on Earth.

I'm in awe of Matilda.

And yay, kittens!

Our wings are not tired.

Yay kittens! I had to run over to the FB to see them because apparently I don't have an Instagram account. Seems like I do, but they don't seem to think so.

No one in the family has said anything about Thanksgiving, but since I have been the organizer for decades I am not surprised. We have been seriously dieting, but I was thinking of making a turkey breast in the instant pot then as a treat a little trio plate with one little scoop each of sweet potato, white potato, and stuffing. I'll pass on pies and cranberry sauce, although the recipe I use for the turkey has a can of cranberry sauce in the instant pot.

move out and draw fire

My cat has started vomiting clear liquid, and the only time I can get her into the vet today is the same time as DX's remembrance. I hate 2020.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Thankfully we had a huge Thanksgiving gathering for the big, fundie Trump follower side of my family last year, so we'd have naturally broken apart to smaller nuclear family holidays without the pandemic. The other side of my family is small, smart, and full of medical personnel, so I have few worries about safety measures in the increasingly unlikely event that we do get together for Thanksgiving. Probably it'll be just me and Mom, with our one cousin invited but abstaining. I scored a huge pan of frozen Savannah Classics dressing—give me a turkey breast or rotisserie chicken from the supermarket and we're set.
