Good luck with cleaning, Teppy!
I vote full butter. But that’s easier if the butter is not cold and hard to spread?
I do not know from ruggable but am interested in the answer…
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

I butter my toast because I want butter on all of the toast.
Yep. And I keep my butter at room temperature to make sure I can spread it evenly without breaking the toast.
Excellent toast feedback, thank you.
Thinking of you guys, Cindy.
they got inspired by NOLA's decorated houses for Mardi Gras and are going to do that this year!
Awesome! That should be fun
When I think of buttering toast I am for some reason picturing myself in a restaurant and they don't always give me enough butter to truly cover the toast. And when I am home there is the butter-is-too-cold-to-spread issue which runs into my impatience to eat and honestly, warm toasty toast with lumps of cold butter not at all evenly spread on it is a different kind of delicious to thoroughly buttered toast, but it is still delicious. But in theory I'm going to try to butter the whole piece of toast. And I do like to toast already buttered bread in the toaster oven, seems even butterier that way.
I don't butter toast often, but I am pretty random with my totality when I do. Peanut butter however must be evenly and completely covering the surface.
Thank you, Jen.
Like Jessica, I keep my butter room temperature. It has to be actually hot out for me to put it in the fridge.
Cindy, that's such a frustrating situation C. is in. And you can't just easily fix it as his mom. It sounds like switching back to Remicade is the best way forward; I hope his GI can convince the insurance to cover it. (Remicade worked best for Tim's RA, and then his company switched to a different insurance provider, who promptly said Nope, we don't cover Remicade. So I understand the situation C. is in. It's maddening.)
I hope your son's insurance company will approve the Remicade, Laura.
I like butter on every possible millimeter of my toast. I also have a butter dish on the counter which I'm fairly good at keeping stocked, so there's usually spreadable butter available.
I think I saw someone talking about Ruggable rugs on tumblr. I want to say it was Copperbadge (who seems like a reasonable source for reviews), but a quick Google didn't show up anything on his account, so I may be confused about that. Their site shows some pretty rugs, though. And being machine washable would be great, especially in a household with pets. I wish I could peel up my apartment's carpet and toss it in the washing machine. Or just toss it.

He seems like a reasonable source for a whole lot of things. I love his cats.

We have virtually no counters, so we just buy the Land O'Lakes spreadable butter (which the grocery receipt lists as "LOL butter," which makes me grin every time).
Like Jessica, I keep my butter room temperature.
Definitely. And I get slightly annoyed if DP is keeping it so cold downstairs that it gets a little too cold to spread just so. I keep it to myself, but I feel it could be useful to a defense attorney if needed, you know, ever.
