Eeeep! Good you found out now before more of 2021 has passed.

Natter 77: I miss my friends. I miss my enemies. I miss the people I talked to every day.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Timelies all!
Mr. S woke up at 1am(after falling asleep while I was reading him a book last night) and wanted in bed with us. Which of course meant that the rest of the night's sleep was messed up. He's also been very annoying all day.
My stupidity tax is $2800 this year, I never filled out a State withholding form and never looked at paycheck statements to notice that for all of 2020 only $62 was withheld for state income tax.
Ugh, msbelle. That sucks. I won't know my stupidity tax until next year. I thought the deadline for all tax payments was extended to May 17, included estimated taxes, but it wasn't, so now I've paid my 1st quarter estimate 1 month late to both the feds and the state. (But yesterday I learned that my stylist has never paid estimates and has never been flagged for it so who knows. I hate the not knowing though.)
Happy belated Anniversary!
I have waited until the almost last minute to file my taxes and an extension bc my 2019 taxes are still not resolved.
Turbo Tax wasn't like $100 for state and federal bc I have a 1099 form so that bumps it up. At this point I don't care and I am going to let them have the money to be done with this. Well not done but almost done.
Wait, what are Brocco Tacos? Because that sounds like broccoli and that sounds very wrong to me.

I don't know why I'm not already best friends with Carla Lalli-Music. This is what I get for leaving New York.

Hmmm, I remain unconvinced. In any case, that is way more implements than I have or want in my kitchen.
I'd be more than happy to eat them if someone wants to make them for me.
No brocco tacos, but getting ready to roast broccoli to go with seared scallops for dinner.
I vigorously attacked the yard with the weed-eater (no cicadas yet, but they’ll be here soon, based on all the cicada chimneys in the yard) and then did our taxes. That is not a Sunday funday at all.
Laura, that was kind of you. Mark's good people, and he hires good people - during BrainShare, we were always one of the groups where somebody had to be driven back to the hotel to get their passport out of the safe, because they wouldn't believe us when we'd say "It's Utah, they check ID for anyone who looks as if they could be under 35, could you just trust us on this?" The FOH was invariably cool about it, and we tipped accordingly.
