I've been out of the abbey two days, I've beaten a lawman senseless, I've fallen in with criminals. I watched the captain shoot the man I swore to protect. And I'm not even sure if I think he was wrong.

Congratulations!

Yay shots!

I feel so out of the loop for not knowing about ND and hammocks. Clearly, it is A Thing

You've got friends to have good times with. When you need to share the trauma of a badly-written book with someone, that's when you go to family.

My favorite bar in Salt Lake is getting ready to reopen and I want to go to there and give them all my moneys. Tl;dr: we're requiring our guests be vaccinated. If you can't get the vaccine we are still offering curbsite pickup; please read the entire post before you write to tell us you're going to sue and check the FAQ for the best examples of hate mail so that you don't duplicate someone else's efforts.

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

Second shot done!

Parker, I send you a virtual donut/beer/million dollars to celebrate your second shot.

And hooray for Buffista offspring getting immunized!

My asthma is worse this spring than it has been in past years, though it does always get a little aggravated in the spring (stupid pollen). It may be a gift with purchase from goddamn Covid. Or it might just be a worse spring allergy season. Anyway, my doctor called in an Rx for a second inhaler; it has built-in sensors that record how often you use the inhaler and can even assess the volume of your inhalation. Then the inhaler can send that information via bluetooth to a phone app. I have to say, I do not want my inhaler communicating with any device, thank you very much, so I am going to avoid downloading the creepy tracking app.

I think my allergies - which are, I know, pretty minimal - have been less bad this spring. I chalked it up to wearing a mask whenever I was outside.

boo to creepy tracking app ... if I'd wanted someone tracking me, I'd have stayed with my mother and sister

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Aw, I love my phone tracking all kinds of weird things for me. I realize this is not my most normal trait. But a bluetooth inhaler sounds pretty cool.

Thank you, Teppy!

The inhaler does what, now? {backs carefully away from the oversharing prescription device}

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Yay for Buffista offspring getting vaccinated!

THey sound fun, amyparker! I will have to try to remember to check them out next time I am in SLC (last time I was in SLC was a couple decades ago, so I will probably need a reminder)
