Second shot done!

Parker, I send you a virtual donut/beer/million dollars to celebrate your second shot.

And hooray for Buffista offspring getting immunized!

My asthma is worse this spring than it has been in past years, though it does always get a little aggravated in the spring (stupid pollen). It may be a gift with purchase from goddamn Covid. Or it might just be a worse spring allergy season. Anyway, my doctor called in an Rx for a second inhaler; it has built-in sensors that record how often you use the inhaler and can even assess the volume of your inhalation. Then the inhaler can send that information via bluetooth to a phone app. I have to say, I do not want my inhaler communicating with any device, thank you very much, so I am going to avoid downloading the creepy tracking app.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

I think my allergies - which are, I know, pretty minimal - have been less bad this spring. I chalked it up to wearing a mask whenever I was outside.

boo to creepy tracking app ... if I'd wanted someone tracking me, I'd have stayed with my mother and sister

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Aw, I love my phone tracking all kinds of weird things for me. I realize this is not my most normal trait. But a bluetooth inhaler sounds pretty cool.

You've got friends to have good times with. When you need to share the trauma of a badly-written book with someone, that's when you go to family.

Thank you, Teppy!

The inhaler does what, now? {backs carefully away from the oversharing prescription device}

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Yay for Buffista offspring getting vaccinated!

THey sound fun, amyparker! I will have to try to remember to check them out next time I am in SLC (last time I was in SLC was a couple decades ago, so I will probably need a reminder)

I just don't want my lung data accessible to god only knows who. Maybe alien overlords!

Though it would be helpful if the inhaler could connect with the (replacement because my husband is a THIEF) bluetooth speaker and twice a day just yell "STEPH USE THE INHALER NOW!!!" But I guess I could just set an alarm on my phone for that.

Our wings are not tired.

Now I want to go to SLC and visit that bar. We went to my favorite local bar last week. Staff and patrons were mixed on mask wearing. Our waitress was one of the few (outside) wearing a mask. I tipped her extra because it is hot here and no doubt it was uncomfortable for her.

I feel so bad for my DP. He has a sacroiliac... thing?... that is making it super painful to walk. Saw ortho Monday, got steroids to help with inflammation, but didn't do much good. Has Flexiril (sp?) now, but still not much help. Getting an MRI on Monday. The plan is PT, but they wanted some inflammation (presumably) relief first. Pain sucks.

Meanwhile, the car warranty "final" courtesy calls are coming twice a day. What is it with those? I mean, technically, I don't even own a car! Leave me alone, you scammers! Also, learn the definition of final.

Right? Alien overlords would totally do that for you.
