Ah, Sheryl, I'm sorry. You can love your kids and still have moments of wanting to load them into the bucket of a trebuchet.
JenP, BRUNCH!!!!!! That is a very happy thing.
Ken just texted me a photo of the bread he baked. He has pronounced the required starter sponge "extremely gross", but is delighted with the results.
amyparker, yeah. There's a song by some German filkers with the chorus "It's ok to want to throw your child out the window. It's ok, yes it is, but it's not ok to do".
So very frustrated with dealing with Mr. S. He's been annoying, bossy and rude a lot lately,
It must be the age, we're dealing with the same behavior lately with ltc.
My church opened for walk-in services (previously, it was streaming/online or with a reservation). It's been over a year. Distancing, all kinds of cautions, hand sanitizer before communion (wine in little paper cups that will be burned), but still ... PEOPLE! elbow bumps all around! it was nice ... I put on real makeup and nice clothes. yay!
And the mother of House Moderna is Dolly Parton, in case you forgot.
That's fantastic, Toddson!
That sounds lovely, Todd.
Heading back to my coast today some time. I went to my sister's last Tuesday so I am ready for my own bed. My sister flies out of West Palm Beach Thursday so we'll have some time to play. Thinking of heading down to Miami tomorrow and grabbing some fish tacos. Bit of big city exposure for the mountain girl.
Toddson, I am very happy for you.
Laura, have some fish tacos for me?
"My" yoga studio has said they will not be reopening for in-person classes until we are out of Phase 3, i.e. we don't need masks indoors for group activities. Soooo next year, at the rate Kitsap County's going?
To my great amusement, "Mobile Reefer Service" does not offer home delivery of pot, but 24/7 roadsite repair of refrigerated trucks.
Well, if they want to diversify they'd be even more amusing
awww ... Operation Mallard ... a success
