Oh she responded to me because she now has access to Ed's emails, I did not reach out to her.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Bless DX's sister for reaching out. If you check in with her again, please let her know how much it means to all of us that she did.

And thank you, JenP!

My leg is completely better, but have I gone out and walked my laps to celebrate? No, I have not. I'm irritated with myself, but not irritated enough to get out there. Tomorrow morning, maybe.

I've been darting in and out of stores running last-minute before-the-re-lockdown errands and I don't *think* I've lost LDB, but I don't pay super close attention because the song I am most earnestly trying to avoid is "Simply Having A Wonderful Christmastime," which a coworker played about 900,000 times one December in our open office and which I will hate forever because of that. That one I've already lost, though at least it was a cover and not the original. So far I've avoided the original, and I hope to stay that way.

move out and draw fire

I lost LDB yesterday. So far I've avoided the date rape song.

I have sent out the first of the Card Exchange emails, but the rest will have to wait for tomorrow.

BED TIME!

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Since I currently can’t drive, I’ve been able to avoid Christmas music.

Yes, my batch of emails will go out in the morning, for I am about to flump. Bed time is my favorite time of day now. My ten year old self would be so disappointed in me.

We were unboxing stuff that had arrived in the mail tonight and the toy dragon we got ltc started cooing and I couldn’t figure out how to shut it off. I ended up having to Google, and we’re lucky ltc didn’t wake up.

"You should never say bad things about the dead, only good… Joan Crawford is dead. Good.” —Bette Davis

Better than the toy puppy I bought for one of my pseudo nephews when he was a toddler suddenly barking in the back seat as I was driving a carful of friends on the 240 expressway late at night. Being startled by sudden noise (including the back seat passengers shrieking) while driving at 70+mph in highway traffic is not good for one's nerves.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Double thanks JenP!

Volans what do you mean about mail being scanned in? Are you somehow able to see your mail before you get it?? Is this magic?

It’s great. Now I don’t bother to check my mail in 2 places.
