Bwah! I even took Benedryl earlier. Granted, it was for the tree sex, but it should still step up to the plate.

Natter 77: I miss my friends. I miss my enemies. I miss the people I talked to every day.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Cass, that can be a thing (particularly with Moderna, as I understand it). You can Google "covid arm" or you can just keep an eye on it, but not sweat it. When you get shot 2, tell your nurse. They may want to put it in the other arm (but it seems to be more of thing with shot 1 than shot 2).
I think maybe Laura had the arm rash after her first shot.

My vax site is itching like crazy. Eight days post first shot and it hasn't even hurt for the last six. But, dang, crazy itch and a tad swollen today.
Mine developed a significant rash 9 days after. Itched like mad after it was nothing for over a week. Ice helped.
Yes, it was just with the first shot, no issues at all with the 2nd except wanting to nap.
Happy Birthday, ND!
I'm about to go make pancakes for lunch.
Those two things are unrelated. Except maybe birthday made me think of cake, and cake made me think of pancake.

Interesting. I put a cold pack on and it took care of the itch.

but how would I distinguish that from my general state of being?
Helen McCrory has died of cancer at age 52, leaving behind her husband Damian Lewis and their two children.
I really loved her work in Penny Dreadful. But she was great in everything.
She was originally cast as Bellatrix but became pregnant and had to give up the role. She later came back to the HP franchise as Narcissa.
Timelies all!
Happy Birthday ND!
I took today off because the nanny wasn't available to pick Mr. S up from school. I ended up doing a few more errands.
Nova hasn't been eating much in the last week, so I dropped her off at the vet first thing in the morning and picked her up in the early afternoon. They did a bunch of blood tests and x-rays. A number of her kidney levels were very high and there were a few other problems. They suspected a UTI, and gave her an antibiotic shot and an appetite stimulant, along with some fluids. They sent out her urine for tests, so by Monday we'll know if that was it. She may have to have an ultrasound to see what actually going on. Sigh.
I also picked up a couple of things at the supermarket and some books on hold that came in.
Happy Birthday, Sheryl! I hope Nova responds well. May today be a day filled with delights.
