HBD, ND!!!
Dawn ,'Sleeper'
Natter 77: I miss my friends. I miss my enemies. I miss the people I talked to every day.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
From a way back:
One of my coworkers mentioned that Del Taco has surprisingly good burgers. For being a taco place, I guess. I don't think I can confirm that from my own experience, but I'll pass it along.
I've never had their burgers, but I've always found it weird that all but one of their combo meals includes fries. (I only ever bought the other one, with a quesadilla, [pre-lactose-intolerance] because I thought the whole "fries from a Mexican place" thing was odd).
And yes, Cindy, Naugles is pronounced to rhyme with "Boggles".

And HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DREW!!!!!
Happy Birthday ND!
Many happy returns of the day, NoiseDesign!
Ahhhh, how so cute pterosaur?!?!?
Happy Birthday, Drew! I hope it's as pandemically fun as possible!
It is Drew's natal day! The skies over Puget Sound are appropriately sunny in his honor.
I got my first shot yesterday, and inspired four adult humans to actual loud cheers and fistpumps with my XKCD "Try Science" T-shirt. Jim asked if I wore it intentionally; it was my turn to deliver the "You have said a Silly Thing" look.
AmyP, and I say this with love, how. dare. you.
Jessica, you have not met Ken, but please believe me when I say that it would take powers beyond those of mere mortals to keep him from doing what he's set his mind on; he has apparently decided that adulthood is a worthy use of his time.
Happy 50th, Drew!
My vax site is itching like crazy. Eight days post first shot and it hasn't even hurt for the last six. But, dang, crazy itch and a tad swollen today.
Maybe there was some undisclosed avocado extract?
Bwah! I even took Benedryl earlier. Granted, it was for the tree sex, but it should still step up to the plate.
Cass, that can be a thing (particularly with Moderna, as I understand it). You can Google "covid arm" or you can just keep an eye on it, but not sweat it. When you get shot 2, tell your nurse. They may want to put it in the other arm (but it seems to be more of thing with shot 1 than shot 2).
I think maybe Laura had the arm rash after her first shot.
