Why couldn't you be dealing drugs like normal people?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Good job, pupper.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Go Rory! Good boi.

Thanks, dcp!

You've got friends to have good times with. When you need to share the trauma of a badly-written book with someone, that's when you go to family.

Yay pupper!

If anyone else is interested in listening along, the ACIP discussion of allocation of vaccines in the first phase has just started - no registration is required.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I’m so happy for EP, and I hope he continues to be able to work in Hollywood in a way he finds fulfilling.

Booking appointments when TCG is the only one who can drive me and also the only one who can drive ltc to and from school is a pain in the ass. I miss my village.

move out and draw fire

Rory's symptoms sound like Inanna's...hopefully he will also recover quickly!

I'm not that surprised about Elliot Page; I don't really follow him outside of his acting and political/social work, but he's been presenting more male than female recently. I'd been thinking of him more as NB. The main thing is that he's tiny-but-fierce; 100 lbs of courage in a 50 lb bag.

I just got a job offer from a consultancy that's been working on the vaccine distribution plan and I'm pretty tempted even though I don't want to work for any consulting company again. There are so many factors at play with who gets it first and who gets it next, and supply chains so that it can be an annual vaccine from here on out.

I want you to take this job because I know you're smart and competent and ethical!

Punishingly Intricate

Wow I'd love to be working on sorting out that puzzle (in theory!).

Experienced bread bakers: Are silicone loaf pans okay, or should I go with something more traditional?

The Madwoman in the Attic (who is a professional baker) scoffs in derision at silicone loaf pans. She says they're too flimsy and will change shape, which will affect the bread baking evenly and the texture.
