For my mom we were told no shoes. Or socks, unless we just wanted her to have them. The casket lid was open only to her waist. It had been many years since my mom wore outside clothes. We buried her in a clean pair of comfy sweatpants and her favorite pink-plaid flannel shirt. She looked lovely.

I fucking did it! I got my vax appts at the closest place to me, and after work on a Thursday! Could not be any better! (I just missed out last night and would not have stayed up tomorrow night to try again.)

I just read on the CDC website that if you were treated with monoclonal antibodies or convalescent plasma, you should wait 90 days before getting the shot.
