Ma for my puppy please? Just dropped him off at the ER vet because he didn’t want to eat today, and when I finally got him to eat he puked it right back up. And then puked again with nothing in his tummy. And then wouldn’t even eat peanut butter!! So I took him in. Due to covid had to drop him off and they’ll call me when they’ve triaged.

Ugh. Vet called back, they did an X-ray, she’s waiting to hear what the radiologist thinks about one spot. Possibly give him iv fluids for 8-12 hours, or possibly surgery. Cross your fingers for iv fluids!!

Volans, so happy to hear your kitty is well.
Our hospital is starting to having staffing shortages, or at least the nurses are working extra. I think perhaps because we aren’t closing whole departments and redeploying nurses? But these nurses are going to burn out (and Doctors too, but I only know the one and he is a trauma surgeon who was redeployed to the ICU the last time, and he seems to thrive on the stress).
