I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Yay JenP!

Why can't I keep a thought in my head?? What was I thinking earlier today "oh yes, I should go to Target today and get that"? What was the thing?? Obviously not something I need badly, but still. I was thinking of SOMETHING.

Also, watching college basketball. Probably going to lose, but...oh well. A friend is actually at the game (25% capacity, she lives in the area) and sent a little video of them playing the fight song on the speakers (because the band, which is how I know her, isn't allowed) and it was fun.

Now to figure out what the heck else I was going to do with my day....clean the garage. Do laundry. ....I have too much time on my hands y'all.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

No brain shenanigans were seen on an EEG or my blood work. Now apart from some still unexplained hyponatremia (but good kidney function) episodes, I'm probably healthy though low-sodium is not my friend.

Of course, my doctor frowned during my pelvic exam. And then did an extra-thorough sampling. So maybe I will aim my "no bad news" thoughts toward my lady bits.

Continued recovery-ma for your dad, -t.

Cass, I'm glad there were no brain shenanigans. I wish you salt and pelvic health. How are you feeling?

No shenanigans sounds good, Cass. Keep up the good work, kidneys!

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Yay for vaccines!

Woke up for no apparent reason around 5 and was semi-dozing on and off until 7, when the alarm went off. Still managed the grocery store run and lunch ok.

Our wings are not tired.

Yay spicy brains! May the rest of your tests go well.

DH wanted a hair cut from his favorite place in Fort Lauderdale so I rode with him down A1A and back to watch all the bikini clad spring breakers. Sat and read my book while he got his hair cut. It was a nice break from sitting at the computer.

Excellent news of the brain, Cass.

I got Pfizer, Cindy.

We're off to pick up the keys to the new place, woot!

Female stuff: I've had some serious cramping since my (aggressively but medically totally the right call to be aggressive collectively a sample) Pap because there was some old blood hanging out two weeks after my period started (that should not have been there). The old blood decided to call curtains and leave after my appt but now it's almost like a period of fresh blood. But no one (me, you) is allowed to worry until we get the Pap back. My new doctor says that next step, if we even need one, is the dildo ultrasound. He's superthorough so I'll wait until results knowing if there even a hint of an issue, he's on it.

The hyponatremia is weird but my body taught me well and is clear on signs so far. I know when some water and salty snack or things plus a couple of minutes are likely to make me feel just fine. I know when I'm shaky and shouldn't do anything with fragile glass or fine motor skills until that entire feel shakes out with water and salt.

Overall I am good.

A little concerned about the Pap but my EEG was negative and the bloodwork was mostly great and nothing bad we're even pursuing so much as rerunning in 3-6 months. Really glad my kidneys show full function, my sodium is low but normal (138 when low range of normal is 136. Dangerous is 120 and I was there back in December and January. 138 is really okay. 120 and under is so scary.) My thyroid looks to need some adjustment but waiting three months means we won't go too aggressive.

I am going to start back to work very part time on Monday. It's like life is coming back. Since the rest of my clinic who accepted it is vaccinated, I'd like mine. Covid really changed my life.
