Jen, that's far too soon, and too close. I'm sorry.
Cindy, your news makes me very happy. (ETA brenda, yay!) My goddaughter received her first shot yesterday; she's a middle-school teacher whose school went back to hybrid in-person classes on the 8th, and I admit I cried a little when she showed me her card.
Thanks for the kind words, all.
I'm so happy to see more and more of my friends getting the shot. It's giving me so much hope.
I feel the same, ND. Each and every time I see one of my loved ones post they are getting their turn I feel a little stress leave my body. Hope that we will get past this.
The progress being made with new government heads helps too.
I shared a picture on Facebook of someone in my neighborhood who has an orange inflatable flailing tube guy in their front yard, reaching the second story of their house, with the word "VACCINATED" stenciled down the front. I love it!
I’m sorry, Jen.
Work has been very worky today. But I ordered a new bike. It’s this, in purple. [link]
Oh, I like your neighbor, Teppy. That is quite fun.
That bike is super cute, Calli! I like that cruiser looking style
I love that, Steph!
Thanks, guys.
My 22 y-o niece got her first shot in Atlanta yesterday. I have no idea how - she doesn't have any comorbitities. She's in a choral conducting masters program at GA State, but I don't know whether that made a difference... like, I don't think she's teaching this term. Oh, I wonder whether she maybe volunteered to help like meara did. I mean, I'll ask her. I'm just pondering out loud.
I might volunteer to help once I get vaccinated, if they're seeking completely layperson help. I'd be happy to do that.
Pork chops and Instant Pot parm risotto tonight. Good.
