Am I supposed to be changing my clothes a lot? Is that the helpful thing to do?

What is even happening?

Being chonky isn't a comorbidity that qualifies for the vaccine in Ohio. WHAT EVEN AM I CHONKY FOR THEN

Carbs. (I may be being transferry.)

Sheesh, Tep. I just looked at Ohio's eligibility requirements, and here I was thinking MA had gotten too detailed.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

I've tried Noom but it's was too pop science cutesy for me. In terms of how it tries to get you to lose weight, it's about the same as weight watchers. So nothing revolutionary. I really hate tracking what I eat, though, which both of those programs require.

Yeah, I ended up noping out almost immediately because of the cutesy feel. I felt like it was talking down to me, and it had the kind of cheerful tone that immediately brings out my inner grumpy cynic. I think I'm going to play around with my existing personal system for gameifying my life, give myself some quests on top of my existing daily step count and fruit and vegetable serving tracking.

Our wings are not tired.

Apparently in Florida the requirement are being old, being a medical worker, or contributing to the DeSantis campaign.

TOTALLY carbs.

Yeah, we really suck. But it seems like we're starting to get enough doses of the vaccine, because the age limit keeps dropping. Starting tomorrow, people 50 years and older can get vaccinated, which includes Tim but not me (I am 3 gotdang months away). And I didn't expect the age limit to drop to 50 so soon, so I'm assuming I'll probably be able to be vaccinated (or, I guess, try to schedule a vaccination) in a month or so. Plus, I have those all-natural, free-range, locally sourced, farm-to-table, artisanal antibodies anyway.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

The stimulus bill has passed; it goes to Biden to be signed on Friday (I think it's scheduled for Friday).

ooh ... for knitters - reverse engineering pieces from movies, etc. ... also crocheters

forgot to add the quote:

“Most things can be translated into knitwear with a little imagination, a lot of math, trial and error, and a sense of adventure,”

I am relieved that the Republicans have not been able to stop absolutely everything.
