Timelies all!
It's Friday. That's all I got.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Slow Saturday. Been trying to be helpful with house projects, but feeling worthless. Everything I try requires more strength or height or something I don't have. Sigh.
Timelies all!
Found out one of my favorite mystery writers, Margaret Maron, died this week. She had stopped writing both of her series a few years back, but I'll miss seeing her around Malice Domestic(whenever that goes back to in-person.)
Thank you all for sharing the playlists. I've been alternating between Terry's and Smonster's. It's emotionally soothing, in spite of the tears. A solid cry can be cathartic. I really can't even.
Oh, I always liked her stuff, Sheryl. Actually been thinking about one of her series recently, for no real reason. Sad to hear that, but also glad I didn’t entirely miss the news as I very easily could have.
I only found out because I'm subscribed to the DorothyL listserv.
I got to spend this afternoon with Amyth at hospice. I read most of The Last Unicorn aloud with her (skipping a few of the chapters in the castle), and left after her best friend came to spend the night. They’re taking good care of her. It’s easily the nicest care facility I’ve ever been in as far as that goes—clean and as comfortable as such a place can be. I’m glad I had the time to spend with her.
Oh Calli I am so glad.

I'm glad you had that time too. Deb knows Peter S. Beagle well. I think he'd be pleased to know he was a consolation in her last hours.
Calli, good to hear. Thank you.
