I got to spend this afternoon with Amyth at hospice. I read most of The Last Unicorn aloud with her (skipping a few of the chapters in the castle), and left after her best friend came to spend the night. They’re taking good care of her. It’s easily the nicest care facility I’ve ever been in as far as that goes—clean and as comfortable as such a place can be. I’m glad I had the time to spend with her.

I'm glad you had that time too. Deb knows Peter S. Beagle well. I think he'd be pleased to know he was a consolation in her last hours.

I got sucked into TikTok. Not by what I would’ve thought,but instead by old SYTYCD videos. So sad that the show isn’t streaming anywhere, especially the early seasons I loved.
